Biren Gandhi leads and manages IBM Consulting’s global Energy, Environment and Utilities (EE&U) industry practice and community focusing on AI and Hybrid Cloud Platform solutions. The practice focuses on helping clients to digitally transform T&D Grids, Renewables Generation, Water Networks, Energy Markets, and Enterprise Operations in an agile and results-oriented way.

Biren has 20+ years experience in the Energy industry; he has been working with clients globally who are transforming their business model and leading the energy transition. He started his journey in the wind and solar energy industry and over years have expanded to transmission and distribution (T&D) grid, fossil generations and energy markets.

He is regular speaker at industry conferences and forums on the topic of digital transformation data and analysis, Wind O&M and Internet of Things in the EE&U industry.

He manages the IBM relationship and partnership with key  Software, Cloud and OT vendors focusing on EE&U industry.

He is a German Citizen, enjoys playing golf, traveling & reading.
