We are ensuring America’s electricity grid supports our economy’s changing needs.

GridWise uniquely serves the electricity industry by leveraging diverse stakeholder perspectives to articulate the numerous benefits of grid modernization. GridWise helps create a common understanding of the numerous and transformational operations-focused and policy-related changes taking place across the electricity industry. Our work ensures that emerging policy is aligned with industry best practice to facilitate effective and wide-spread change.

Our members are actively creating innovative new solutions to optimize operations and benefit customers, while ensuring that the grid continues to provide safe, reliable, and affordable electricity to consumers in communities across the United States.

Our members educate key federal, state and local decision makers on the benefits of grid modernization and are trusted advisors that ensure prudent legislative and regulatory changes are introduced and advanced.

Our members catalog and highlight best practices; develop and disseminate guidelines and resources; and host various forums with a wide array of stakeholders to ensure broad access to the most innovative thinking related to grid modernization.

GridWise monitors the pulse of federal and state policy development

Our members are a valued resource on Capitol Hill and with federal and state agencies due to our cross-industry composition and consensus perspective. We regularly interact with policymakers to inform their understanding of the changes taking place in the industry.
