Sunil Pancholi

Sunil Pancholi is the Director of Energy Strategy at Lockheed Martin Energy (LME). He has over 30 years of experience in Electrical Power T&D Systems, Energy Storage, Utility Automation, and Microgrids.
Prior to joining Lockheed Martin in 2012, he worked with the electrical utility for Washington DC for 25 years and managed its Smart Grid program, including managing a $500M Smart Grid initiative. He developed the vision and strategy for Smart Grid/Utility of Future programs.

At Lockheed Martin, he leads Smart Grid/Utility of Future Program. He has developed programs for deferring new T&D investments for LME Clients. He currently serves on the Board of Directors on the GridWise Alliance, a leading consortium for Utilities and Technology vendors. He served on the US Department of Commerce EERE Advisory Committee from 2013-2016. Sunil has an MBA from Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and MSEE from George Washington University.
