Connie Carden is an experienced business leader with a focus on driving growth and innovation in the utility industry. Connie has a demonstrated track record of building teams delivering value for clients in advisory consulting, system integration, and technology-enabled transformations. Currently, Connie is the Global Client Service Partner in Ernst & Young’s Energy practice across all service lines including Risk, IT Risk & Assurance, Strategy, Process and Performance Transformation, Tax, People and Transaction Advisory Services and Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services. Connie is currently the Coordinating Partner responsible for managing the P/L, engagement sales & delivery and overall
client relationship for two of the largest investor-owned utilities in the Northeast. Connie specializes in assisting her clients to solve the most pressing challenges facing the Utility industry. In addition to her client responsibilities, Connie co-chairs EY’s popular Women in Power and Utilities programs that draw hundreds of senior women executives in North America annually.
Connie has over 35 years of consulting experience, both sales and delivery in areas such as enterprise transformation, customer, strategy, supply chain, asset management, shared services, grid modernization, generation, distribution and transmission. Prior to joining EY, she was a senior Energy Partner for major Southeastern utility clients while at IBM, where she also served as a member of the IBM Smart Grid Working Group. Throughout her career, Connie assisted utility clients with the selection and implementation of a wide array of enterprise IT platforms, including but not limited to, Oracle, Siemens, Schneider, Elster and OATI.
